On 28th July 2025, the 1st Summer School of the NATO SPS Program project G-7552 “War on Geohazards in a Peaceful Caucasus – WAGER” was opened by the Rector of the Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.
Prof. Magda Davitashvili, as Host of the event, welcome the Georgian and Italian participants, as well as the Italian teachers remotely connected to the event (Prof. Adriano Fiorucci and Prof. Federico Vagnon) and the representatives of the end-user partners of the project, namely, Dr. Nika Marsagishvili for GEO – Georgian Environmental Organization and Dr. Nina Shatberashvili for Caucasus Network for Sustainable Development of Mountain Regions (Sustainable Caucasus).
After this, the activities started, as planned in the program enclosed.
